Project objectives:
The project assumes the development of an innovative system that allows for changing the way games are created by implementing a flexible production process enabling the simultaneous development of products within at least two AAA, RPG class projects. Improving the game creation process will allow for an iterative, systematic and intuitive process of creating immersive adventures and scenes, which will enable the creation of more realistic and attractive images. Based on solid technological foundations, CDPR will develop competences towards creating more than one AAA game (Triple-A, i.e. high-budget games) at the same time. The challenge here is the technological layer, so CDPR’s goal is to create a system/tool that will drive and revolutionize the game creation process. The supporting tool is, among others, a system for creating narratives, including tasks.
The project assumes the implementation of one module: the R&D module.
As part of the implementation of the R&D module, development work will be carried out on the development of a modular system consisting of the following modules: Animation skeleton template generator for Motion Capture actors, Animation Auto Alpha, a tool for previewing and editing developed content, Narrative Generator, Project Agnostic Asset Management Tools and Project Agnostic Digital Content Creation Utility Tools.
